"Ok so it's a murder mystery but YOU solve it. You cross them off one by one using the clues until you find the killer. I've never seen anything like it. Took me a few sittings over a couple of days and I kept thinking about it when I put it down lol"

"Bought it because I was sick of scrolling my phone every night and honestly it worked. It kind of turns the chaos in your brain off? You just sit there with a pen crossing off names and it's weirdly relaxing. My teen stole it off me so now I have to order another one"

"Warning! Addictive. I sat down 'for five minutes' and lost two hours. It's hard but not annoying-hard, and honestly so satisfying when a clue clicks and you get to cross off a whole chunk of names. Wasn't happy til I solved it. Highly recommend! 😅"

WHY IS THIS BOOK SO ADDICTIVE?

Unlike a traditional mystery novel where you follow a detective, They Framed You puts the entire investigation in your hands. You have been framed for murder, and somewhere among 45,232 printed names is the person who actually did it. Using twenty logical clues, you will eliminate suspects by the thousands as the list narrows with every deduction. You will rethink your logic, revisit pages you have already searched, and double-check names you crossed out hours earlier. It is difficult to put down because every clue takes you one step closer to the only name that matches them all, and one step closer to proving your innocence.

CAN YOU REALLY SOLVE THE MYSTERY YOURSELF?

Yes. Every clue you need is printed in the book, and every one of them is solvable with logic alone. There are no lucky guesses, no tricks, and no impossible leaps. Just deduction. Each clue eliminates suspects, and if you apply every clue correctly, exactly one name will survive. There's no answer printed in the book to spoil it, either. When you think you've found the killer, you check your answer on our verification site and find out if you're right. 🔎📖

    WHAT BOOKS DO WE SELL?

Corex Books publishes logic elimination mysteries. Our current authors are Charlotte Brooke (The Killer Isn't June) and Lana Kaper (The Victim Isn't Dead). Every book we sell is listed on this site, so if it's not here, it's not ours.

DO I NEED A DETECTIVE CASEBOOK?

You can absolutely solve the case without the Casebook, plenty of readers do. It's simply there to make the solve smoother and help you stay organized across your sittings.

It includes space to work through each clue, track which chapters and pages you've cleared, and log the names still in play as the field narrows. Instead of flicking back through the book trying to remember where you got up to, you'll have your whole investigation in one place.

It's completely optional, but if you like working methodically, the Casebook turns a big solve into a satisfying, organized one.

    About the Author

Charlotte Brooke has always been drawn to puzzles that reward patience: the crossword you cannot leave unfinished, the logic grid that finally clicks, and the mystery you solve one step ahead of everyone else. After years of loving classic whodunits, she wanted to create something different: a mystery where the reader is accused of murder and must do every piece of the solving to prove their innocence. They Framed You challenges you to apply twenty logical clues, eliminate suspects by the thousands, and narrow 45,232 printed names down to one killer. Every clue is designed to reward careful reading, precise logic, and the patience to see the investigation through.

"I bought this on a whim and ended up finishing it in two days. The mystery is incredibly well thought out, and the clues are hidden in a way that rewards careful readers. There were multiple moments where I felt certain I had cracked the case, only to discover I had completely overlooked something important. The twists were smart rather than shocking for the sake of being shocking, which made the answer even more satisfying."

"I do a lot of puzzle books and this is genuinely unlike any I've ever seen. It's not over in a couple of minutes like a sudoku, it actually makes you think and concentrate. A few clues in you start second-guessing everything and going back over names you already crossed off. In a good way lol"

    Anthony R

"I've read dozens of murder mysteries, but most of them simply tell you a story and reveal the answer at the end. This book was different. It constantly encouraged me to pay attention, question my assumptions, and connect clues for myself. The mystery was clever, the pacing was excellent, and the final reveal was worth every page. I immediately wanted to discuss with friends after finishing it!"

    • "Didn't expect to be sitting at my nail appointment trying to work out who to cross off next 😂 I honestly can't put this book down. Every time I think I've figured it out, I notice something I missed before. It's such a fun change from just scrolling on my phone."

      Sarah M

    • "Bought this to work on over coffee and it was the best decision. I thought I'd figured out the killer within the first few clues, but I couldn't have been more wrong 😂 It's the first mystery book that's actually made me stop, think, and piece everything together myself. Already looking forward to my next coffee so I can keep solving it. "

      Emily R

    • "This wasn't even on my reading list. I just spotted it while browsing and thought it looked interesting. Best impulse buy I've made in ages. Such a fun concept and completely different from a normal mystery."

      Lauren T

    • "This is my new quiet time thing. Cup of tea, highlighter, cross off some names. It's oddly peaceful, almost zen? But then a clue lands and suddenly you're a detective and it's 11pm. A really nice way to spend an evening that isn't a screen"

      Melissa K

    • "Bought two so my friend and I could do it at the same time and it was the best decision. We compared notes all week like actual detectives. Perfect if you love a whodunnit but want to DO it instead of just reading it"
